Eligibility for Tryouts ▪ Student athlete must be academically eligible in order to tryout

Eligibility for Tryouts ▪ Student athlete must be academically eligible in order to tryout ▪ Student must complete all required paperwork on Rank. One. Sports ▪ Student must be cleared by the trainer prior to trying out ▪ Current physical must be on file with the trainer prior to tryout

Tryouts ▪ Tryouts are required to help determine player skill level, 2019 points scale.

Tryouts ▪ Tryouts are required to help determine player skill level, 2019 points scale. ▪ Minimum varsity evaluation score is set at 800 pts. Will increase next year. ▪ Minimum JV evaluation score is 600 pts. ▪ C-Team would be 599 pts. and below. ▪ Team position security after placement is the responsibility of the player. ▪ Player will be evaluated by observation, stats, and attitude thereafter. ▪ Should a player make a specific team it does not constitute a season long guarantee. ▪ If a senior is trying out and has not made varsity in 3 yrs of participation, chances are that senior will be cut if they do not reach the minimum varsity score.

Tournaments ▪ Tournament participation is determined by the coach or coaches of the respective

Tournaments ▪ Tournament participation is determined by the coach or coaches of the respective team only, i. e. , Varsity, JV, C-Team ▪ Participation in a tournament at any team level does not guarantee the player’s spot on that team , i. e. , Varsity, JV, C-Team ▪ These are preseason games scheduled by the coach and or district AD to aid in the final determination of team members ▪ Player participation in tournaments will be determined by player ranking and number of players permitted to travel to said tournament ▪ Varsity team will be taking the top 12 scoring players from tryouts to participate in the scheduled tournaments. ▪ Should the varsity team require additional player they will be pulled from JV based on observation, stats and attitude.

Senior Night ▪ Senior night is to honor seniors after the scheduled game. ▪

Senior Night ▪ Senior night is to honor seniors after the scheduled game. ▪ By no means is it a guarantee that a senior will play. ▪ If the senior has not started prior to senior night they will not start that evening either. ▪ Competition is very tight at the Varsity level therefore, alterations to the normal line-up will be considered but not ensured. ▪ The object in all sports programs is to improve to the point of becoming a starter on the Varsity team.

(Doctor Note only exception) ▪ 8 th period is not a study period for other classes, DON’T ASK ▪ Keep up with your grades, student’s responsibility

Fundraising ▪ Fundraising is a necessary evil these days. ▪ Athletic budgets don’t go very far. ▪ All athletes are required to meet their fund raiser goal. ▪ First goal is $70, which helps pay for the spirit pack. ▪ Next goal is $50 to pay for warm ups they will keep. ▪ Spirit pack cost the team $2695 as a team we made only $2304 minus the fee , what we actually get is $1800 and change.
