First Aid Role of the Team Leader – First Aid Ø Personnel Ø Request all required additional personnel and/or resources to enable effective and efficient rescue Ø Do not bring in any more than necessary as too many personnel/resources will only creates confusion
First Aid Role of the Team Leader – First Aid Ø Access Ø Assign two members to find and flag the best possible route to transport the patient safely Ø Have route cleared sufficiently to allow passage of personnel carrying a basket or other equipment used (Snowmobile, ATV, etc. ) Ø Clear an area in order to prepare the patient for transport if required safe rescue (e. g.
