Bio: Laura Paklin ➔ 2 nd Semester Freshman ➔ Computer Science ➔ This class taught me about the importance of the use of hardware and software within a robot. ➔ I am interested in learning more about software possibilities in robots. ➔ I plan on getting involved into research especially A. I ➔ Take advantage of any resource available toward your education because it will not always be around.
Bio: Ruth A. Portalatin-Ramos ➔ First year ➔ Chemical Engineer ➔ I learned that robotics is a bit more complicated than I expected; so, in the future, I will give more respect to robotics lovers and mechanics. ➔ I plan on doing research within UF’s chemical college. ➔ In the future I would like to be an astronaut and work as a Chemical Engineer with the Air Force. ➔ This class is all about Electrical Engineering and robotics, nothing much of anything else!
