The audience decides how successful we are. • Conductor • We are always “on”. Down to your walk, eye-contact, ensemble interaction, and demeanor. This all happens before any music is made.

Productivity through Personality • Work Ethic • We instill in our students the personality they perceive. • Discipline • Chaos does not allow for productivity. • We need to provide students with expectations on how to conduct themselves and behave. • Followed through with respect. • Consistency • Your personality should be the same on and off the podium, otherwise it may not be clear to students who you are and what you expect.
