RILM models of Teacher Training ü Intermediate Training: 2 days training ü Advanced Training: More than 2 days training with follow up. § RILM prescribes and gives recognition to these two models § If a club takes up a basic training i. e. a one day training, they will not be eligible for RILM recognition

Steps of Conducting Teacher Training? § Identify schools and take consent for teacher training from school authority. Club may approach the District Education Officers for assistance in identifying schools § Identify a Trainer for the training session. (May involve one of RILM’s training partners-details on website www. rotaryteach. org) § Finalize the topics and dates for training in consultation with Trainer and RILM and prepare the budget. Arrange venue and other logistics for the training

Steps of Conducting Teacher Training § Conduct a pre-training assessment of teachers with the help of form (TT 3. 1) § Supervise the conduct of training § Conduct a post teacher training assessment with the help of form (TT 4. 1) § Forms available in www. rotaryteach. org § Upload project report on the RILM website along with good quality pictures § In case of the Advanced Module, conduct a refresher training after 2 -3 months to help the teachers with any challenges they faced in the period following the training.

Download and understand the three forms to get an idea about the evaluation process Identification of school/s 10 students to participate in the evaluation process using NB 1. 2 and the principal to participate using NB 2. 2 One School one Teacher to be felicitated with NBA certificate

Compilation of data from NB 1. 2 and NB 2. 2 using NB 3. 2 compilation sheet Go to RILM website www. rotaryteach. org and upload the NB 3. 2 form online Get auto-generated certificates for the Teacher with highest marks Organize event to handover the Certificate preferably on Teachers’ Day 5 th Sept / Literacy day 8 th Sept or any other day Upload good quality pictures after award distribution to get club recognition certificates

Supplemental Teaching Aims to involve volunteer teachers in schools, who will • Engage in Co-curricular activities. • Assist the students to strengthen the reading and writing skills. The focus of this should be on co-curricular activities and not teaching the curriculum, unless a special request is made by the school.
