How to Calculate your TEM Take your overall rating on each evaluation standard and assign yourself points according to the scale below. REMEMBER: – There are ten standards and you will not get your overall rating until your final summative evaluation. (But, you should be able to “guesstimate” now. )

A glimpse of what is to come in 20152016 • CMS 2014 Mean GP for 2014 – Released on December 9, 2014 • These scores will never be used on your evaluation. • The 2014 -2015 tests are the first tests to count for Teacher Effectiveness Measure. • The 2014 -2015 Milestones Test this year will count for the 2015 -2016 Teacher Effectiveness Rating. (This is called Lagging Data)

Score Summary: This is by department and grade not by teacher – Next year it will be by department, grade and teacher. This year the individual teacher information is not available. • See Score Summary on handout.

SLOs (Student Learning Objective) SLO performance will be used for all non state tested courses. This shall be upcoming for 20152016. You should be able to see from your SLOs how your students are doing and look at your Future TEM as well.
