FREE Options: Adobe Spark (best option) The following doesn’t save in MP 4 mode: Prezi (cannot insert music on free student account) Google Slides
My Preparation Included: ❖ Getting familiar with Book Nook Resources ❖ Showing the teacher the Book Nook Resources ❖ Choosing a storyboard template for the students ❖ Choosing a rubric to share with students ❖ Learning how to use Adobe Spark ❖ Creating my own book trailer
“Oh, an assignment that is fun!”
What We Learned…. Adobe Spark: ❖ Students under 13 can’t create an account (Create a teacher account!) ❖ If using Chromebooks, students logged in with their Google accounts ❖ Save photos first before creating slide ❖ You can add your own music to Adobe Spark ➢ I love Purple Planet Royalty Free Music (on Book Nook’s audio tools) ❖ Downloading the video when it is complete helps with slow internet speed ❖ Giving credit for pictures ➢ Save each web address to a new Google doc for credits
What We Learned…. Prezi and Google Slides: ❖ These tools do not save as MP 4 s ❖ I had to use an online conversion site to convert a Google Slide video ❖ Free teacher Prezi allows you to insert music, free student Prezi does not.
