Review: Growth Plan Check in and Conference • Professional initiates scheduling a check in visit with his or her evaluator. Evaluator agrees to the date & time. • Evaluator visits classroom for up to 30 minutes to observe practice related to the specific goals. • Professional & Evaluator agree on a Conference date and time. Evaluator completes the Growth Plan Check-In Form to document that the Conference occurred. • No evidence is uploaded to the TDES Portal. • Check off in the portal that the Conference occurred. 13

Begins with reflection and feedback Discuss areas of disagreement by reviewing evidence and the rubric language Professional knows ratings by the conclusion of the conference Sign off on the post conference 16

Unannounced Observation (1 of 2) 1. Evaluator conducts classroom observation of at least 30

Unannounced Observation (1 of 2) 1. Evaluator conducts classroom observation of at least 30 minutes. 2. Evaluator submits evidence in the portal within 24 hours; teacher can add evidence if desired within 24 -48 hours. 3. High Quality Student Data is not required to be in the daily lesson plan. The professional may add evidence of how data is used in the portal prior to the post-conference.
