TP: Confidentiality TÜBİTAK Ø A random code will be given for each Laboratories. Ø Laboratory code will sent to its contact person. Ø Laboratories will be represented by these codes in the Comparison Report. 17
TP: Insurance TÜBİTAK Ø Laboratories are responsible for Ø the costs for insurance of the shipment to their standards, Ø any damage that may occur during their measurements. 18
TP: Checklist Form TÜBİTAK Check List Form Before measurements □ Verticality of the machine □ Hardness of compression table □ Straightness of the tables □ Paralelesim of the moving table □ Alignment of the tension bars □ Technical Protocol 19
TP: Preliminary Control of MTM TÜBİTAK Ø After 1 hour warm-up time, before performing the measurements, Ø Crosshead of the MTM is runned with different speed, Ø Limit switches are checked and adjusted for undesired movement of the crossheads and preventing the damage of the MTM Ø In case of preliminary test is failed measurements are stopped and waited up to solving of pilot lab. 20
TP: Measurement Instructions TÜBİTAK Ø Calibration/verification and uncertainty of material testing machines according to EN ISO 7500 -1 standard. 21
TP: Mounting the Force transdcuers into MTM TÜBİTAK Calibration/verification procedure acc. To EN ISO 7500 -1 1. Alignment of the force-proving instrument 2. Conditioning of the testing machine (at least three times preloading) 3. Aplication of verification procedure • Three series of measurements shall be taken with increasing force. • For machines applying not more than five discrete levels between 20 % and 100 % of the maximum range of the scale. • The force-proving instrument may be rotated through an angle of 120° before each series of measurements and a preload run undertaken
TP: Reporting the Results TÜBİTAK Ø Each lab. calculates the error of calibration of MTM according to EN ISO 7500 -1 • Relative accuracy error • Relative repeatability error • Relative zero error • Relative resolution error • Relative reversibility error Ø Each lab. calculates the uncertainty acc. to EN ISO 7500 -1 (k=2, %95) Ø Reporting the results on their calibration certificate form Ø Sending the reports to the Coordinator within 2 weeks
