q 30% of People infected with HIV/AIDS and have latent TB will eventually get active TB (5 -10% /year). In HIV negative 5 -10 % during their life.

It is known that treatment of latent TB infection(LTBI) or TB preventive therapy, helps to prevent progression to active disease

In this study TST was done in 67. 2% of all HIV patients in our center. This rate in other studies was between 50 %- 79%
