Meeting goals and format The main goal of this meeting is to identify the modelling scenario modelling needs (interpretative or predictive in preparation of the experiment) and the potential link with edge modelling. Each talk should not exceed 12’ + 8’ questions/discussion 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Experiments goals and deliverables Timeline details: number of sessions, dates, Strategy for the experiment (or tentative if not yet fully discussed) Modelling activity foreseen for the preparation of the experiment Modelling activity foreseen for the interpretation of the experiment and exploiting the expected experimental results 6. Key questions (to be formulated in the talk as precisely as possible) that scenario (integrated) modelling need to address 7. Key questions (to be formulated in the talk as precisely as possible) in connection with edge modelling if any. 8. Modelling issues requiring code development

Preamble 1. This meeting will be followed in February (13 th – 17 th ) by one week of modelling focusing on the key issues that this meeting will have highlighted. 2. Scenario modelling activity is a scarce resource. Therefore the issues we will address must be well posed and defined and the resources also evaluated. 3. Note that the Scientific Coordinator of each experiments are responsible of the data they are producing in their experiment. Therefore we encourage strongly the modellers to communicate directly and constantly with them when there is a particular modelling need expressed by the experiment. 4. The use of experimental data produced by the SCs for use outside of the experiment objectives must be discussed and agreed in advance with the SCs and the TF leaders. 5. A short summary of the meeting will be prepared by E. Joffrin and M. Groth
