Tampa FAASTeam Presenter: Bob Barton Sr. System Analyst - FAA Southern Regional Runway Safety Office. Bob served FAA for 30 years as a Safety Inspector, FAA Academy Instructor, Chief Pilot FAA Hdqts. , and Hdqts. Operations Manager. He is an ATP, a CFI in Airplanes, Rotorcraft, and Instruments, a Ground Instructor with Advanced and Instruments. He holds type ratings in 3 airplanes and numerous helicopters. He served for 26 years as an Army Reserve Pilot, I. P. and Instrument Flight Examiner. He has flown more than 15, 000 hours split about equally between airplanes and helicopters.
