WHAT IS BULLYNG? • Bullying is to use strength or influence to intimidate or force him or her to do what the bully wants. • In other words, bullying is being rude, using harsh language, physically abusing someone, or using social media to hurt someone or get the target to do what the bully wants them to do.

HOW CAN YOU PREVENT BULLYING? • You can prevent bullying by telling an adult, such as administration or a parent. • You can tell the bully to stop. • You can be there for the victim if no one else is.

WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS OF BULLYING? • Many students end up cutting there skin out of depression or sadness. • Some even end up committing suicide due to depression or not feeling like they are worth anything to anyone. • Other bully victims start doing drugs or alcohol trying to get away from the damage that a bully has done to them.

BULLYING STATISTICS • 56% of student have witnessed a bullying situation. • 282, 000 students are physically attacked in school each month. • On average 4, 400 students commit suicide per year due to bullying. • On average 100 students try to commit suicide but do not succeed.

TAKE A STAND! • If you ever witness a bully attacking another student say something to an adult! • Do not be a bystander! • Try to fit in another kids shoes before you hurt them! • Look at yourself before you go and judge someone else! • Most importantly, be yourself!
