Where is Taiji and what is happening there? n n n Taiji is a fishing village in Japan. There is a Dolphin Slaughter going down there, thousands of dolphins are being captured, harmed and killed. This goes on for six months every year, From September to May.

Who is to blame and what animals is this happening to? n n Dolphins Fisherman , marine mammals park , and the people that is eating the dolphin meat.

Can this be stopped and what do they do after they kill the dolphin? n n There is a petition going on now to protect them. The petition is going on worldwide to help these animals. The Japanese say that they kill them as a form of pest control. They eat the dolphin, sell them , or use them to make goods.

How is this affecting the people of Taiji and what can we do? n n n Actually a small group of fishermen does the hunting , most of Japan don’t even know what's going on. mercury-poisoned dolphin meat.
