How to draw a rhombus Start with a horizontal line Mark its midpoint Draw a vertical line through the midpoint. Make sure the midpoint is the midpoint of both lines Can you see the rhombus? What do we call the lines they help us draw the rhombus? What happens if we change their length? © T Madas

Two shapes are drawn on a square grid. Put a tick next to all the words that could be used to describe each shape. Put a ring around the word that best describes the shape. quadrilateral parallelogram rectangle rhombus square © T Madas

Look at the statements written on the 4 cards below. Tick the correct statements. If it is possible to draw the described quadrilateral, draw an example of it. It is possible to draw a quadrilateral with 1 right angle. It is possible to draw a quadrilateral with 3 right angles. It is possible to draw a quadrilateral with 2 right angles. It is possible to draw a quadrilateral with 4 right angles. © T Madas
