T 07 -00 1 Population Sampling Distribution Purpose Allows the analyst to determine the mean and standard deviation of a sampling distribution for population scenario's involving means and proportions. The template also calculates the plus and minus 1, 2 and 3 standard deviation points on the sampling distribution. A graphical display of all these calculations showing the approximate normal sampling distribution is created.
