Indicates cone Indicates player 2 Laker Drill “modified” 1 # Indicates station 3 • Players line up behind each station. 1 gets rebound, Pitch Passes to 2. Then chest passes begin back / forth 2>1>3 and back while proceeding down court • As group approaches opposite basket. Player 2 cuts to basket and receives bounce pass and makes layup • After shot, Player 3 gets rebound and pitches to Player 1 and drill resumes back up court
Fast Break Drill Indicates cone Indicates player # 1 st 3 rd 2 nd 1 st • 3 players go at a time, 1 st player drive to basket, 2 nd players rebounds, 3 rd player goes around cone and cuts to other cone • Player 1 sprints to other side of court to play defense • Player 2 pitches ball to Player 3 to start 2 on 1 1 2 nd 3 rd 1 st Indicates station
Indicates cone Indicates player Killer Knock-Out # 5 Indicates station 1 4 2 3 • • Players line up at station 1, dribble to basket & take jump shot / get rebound If ball goes in, they dribble to / around station 2 outer cone then to inner cone & shoot. Player must make basket to continue to next station. They remain until basket is made Goal is to be 5 for 5
Indicates cone Indicates player Gladiator Drill # Indicates station • Player in paint, delivers chest pass to one of the outside players and 1 on 1 matchup begins. Maximum 2 shots on basket. • After 2 nd shot, who ever rebounds pitches it out to next outside player, defender attacks • After 4 outer players go – switch to next player
Indicates cone Indicates player • • Curl & Shoot # Indicates station Option 1 Shooter runs to cones, makes tight curl ending up square to basket. As he/she is curling, Passer delivers strong chest pass Shooter catches ready to shoot. Shooter must follow shot & get rebound and put ball on ground next to passer Option 2 Shooter runs to cones, makes tight curl ending up square to basket. As he/she is curling, Passer delivers strong chest pass and follows to play “passive defense” Shooter catches ready to shoot. Shooter must follow shot while Passer is boxing Shooter out. If Shooter gets rebound, they have 1 additional shot. If Defender gets ball, move to next players
Indicates cone Indicates player Le. Bron Drill # Indicates station • Players line up at station 1, dribble thru cones (which should be tight) with head up / back straight. Focus is on ball handling, feet movement, and court vision (head up) • After last cone, players continue to opposite set of cone and do the following 1. Attack Basket – drive to hoop / power layup 2. Pull Up Jumper – go thru cones – player gets square to hoop (jump/stop/pop) 3. Cross Over Explosion – players go to far cone , practice cross over then explode to hoop (should do 2 cross overs) 4. Behind Back Explosion – players go to far cone , practice behind the back then explode to hoop
Indicates cone Indicates player 1 3 vs 2 Team Drill 2 4 3 # Indicates station 5 • Players line up at each station - Coach throw ball with backspin at top of key • Players 2 & 4 (Defense) go to elbow and jump in stance position (knees bent /palms up) • Players 1/3/5 (Offense) run to 3 point arc. 2 passes to 1 and proceeds to opposite block and curls back up to where Player 5 was • After Player 3 passes to 1, Player 5 moves to top of Arc – 3 vs 2 begins • Offense maximum 2 shots to score / Defense gets ball drill is over • Players rotate positions
Indicates cone Indicates player 5 # Full Court Dribbling 4 3 2 • Based on age/skills this drill is adaptable • Objective (dribble with finger tips / knees bent / eyes up / back straight • Dribbling options are as follows with always utilizing cones • Thru legs / Behind Back / Duck walk dribbling low to ground • ISO of circling cones – you can do Basketball Push ups Indicates station 1

Indicates cone Indicates player Full Court Team Dribble / Pass / Shoot • This is a full court drill that keep the players moving…great for an opening warm up drill • 1 st set of cones – dribble thru then give and go with coach • 2 nd set of cones it to focus on speed & control (stop & go) • At last cone, player crosses over and pulls up for 7 -10 ft. jump shot Coach Indicates station
