SELF- RECOVERY SETUP After Symantec Endpoint Encryption (SEE) has been installed on your computer

SELF- RECOVERY SETUP After Symantec Endpoint Encryption (SEE) has been installed on your computer you will be prompted with this screen. Please press “Continue” to move to the next step.

SELF- RECOVERY SETUP On this step you will be required to input your username

SELF- RECOVERY SETUP On this step you will be required to input your username and password, the “Domain” field should be auto filled for you. The “User name” is your Windows username. The “Password” is your Windows password. Click “Continue” once you have filled out the required information.

SELF- RECOVERY SETUP This step is for the creation of your 3 security answers to the pre-defined security questions. Enter a PIN, be sure NOT to use sequential numbers i. e. (123456) or the same number repeatedly i. e. (111111 or 222222). When you fill out your childhood hero refrain from using things like Mother, Father, or Batman and Spiderman. Instead use specific names or made up names. Once you have filled in all the questions click “Save” to continue.

Fill in your login information then press “Enter” on your keyboard and Windows will load. If you do NOT remember your password, then you will need to continue to the next step.

PERFORMING SELF- RECOVERY Option One: “Help Desk Recovery”, choose this option when you contact

The Service Desk will provide you with a response key to bypass the SEE Login screen. Option Two: “Self Recovery”, this option will allow you to use your 3 security answers created previously. For this period of instruction we are going to go ahead and select option 2, “Self Recovery” and then press “Enter”.

Option 1: On the left you can find it in the “S” category. Option 2: You can do a search in the search bar for “see” and then select SEE Management Agent.
