Syllabus 2020 -2021 ◈ Mr. Collette, Ms. Moyer, & Mr. Reed◈ A day in the life ● ● ● • • Students are expected to have an AR book with them at all times. Each class will begin with a warm up. Math & Social Studies will split their 90 minute block. Students will remain in their homeroom classroom. Teachers will rotate to each classroom. Bathroom breaks are scheduled at regular intervals. Students will be escorted by teachers and practice social distancing. Online Learning Days On Wednesdays students will have a choice board activity (first week) and a weekly academic reflection sheet starting the second week of school. Teachers will instruct students about how to access their materials for online learning days. All resources will be available in Google Classroom even if it is a “paper/pencil” assignment. Daily supplies Pencils, composition book, computer mouse, loose leaf paper, coloring supplies, glue stick, scissors, & AR book. Homework Expectations ● ● ● Homework will be kept to a minimum. Students are expected to complete unfinished assignments from that days class. Students should read a minimum of 30 minutes per day including the minutes read at school. Grading policies are consistent with the expectations of Caldwell County Schools and are detailed in the GFMS handbook located in your child’s planner. Missing/Late work ● ● Missing/late work must be turned in as soon as possible and is the responsibility of the students. The highest grade to be earned on missing/late work is 89%.
