Wealthy or Poor? Switzerland is a rich country. Not only is the per capita income relatively high compared to other country, inflation and unemployment are also relatively low. The purchasing power of the Swiss franc is so high that the Swiss middle class has no difficulty in vacationing anywhere in the world every year, and that can be easily confirmed by noting that all over the world you can find tourists from Switzerland is also culturally rich and diverse as 4 national languages are spoken.
