Conclusions • Extensive commercial capability exists • No perfect solution exists today • Significant technology advances will occur within CY 02 • Interim systems exist to provide limited capability now • NAVSEA is prepared to meet Fleet acquisition and support requirements if funding is identified • Long Term solution (2 years out) still requires MNS/ORD • Continue “SDS IPT meetings” every 6 months • Extend IPT membership to CFFC and ONR FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY 7
