The importance of mainstreaming • Our approach is currently to get the central agencies having a particular responsibility within their societal sector to; • make it possible to compare the conditions between persons having and not having a functional limitation.
Conclusions • Using a system of indicators to follow the development of the society • Following the accessibility and the possibility to live an independent life and to take part of the rights compared to the total population. • The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities provides a frame work.
