ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIORS Sweden as said in many other slides, nationalism is very important and is very common. So speaking positively of the nation should go a long way. Social behaviors in the business world should be taken very formal. Examples are properly addressing the person, using precise languages, and being politically correct After viewing videos, Swedish people among friends will chat about nearly anything that comes to mind making them a very open people
GIFT GIVING If you're going to a person’s house, you're expected to give a gift as a “thank you for an invitation” Flowers are the most popular form of gift giving Gifts should be chosen based off the relationship you have with the person, and normally should contain some sort of Swedish tradition with it.
NEGOTIATING In Sweden negotiating can be a tricky topic. Much has to be taken into account when speaking to another. Considering the others motives, your relationship, and personal life After watching Swedish people communicate I’ve learned that it is important to include a sense of humor in your lines, but never insult the person If the person is of a higher status from a business point of view , try to include advantages of the agreements rather than the disadvantages. The Swedish people are a very caring group, so explaining how it would benefit you or your people should be a very important aspect of the conversation
