Main types of suturing

This suturing machine type 1 -Skin stitches type (not intradermal). 2 -Non-absorbable thread type. 3 -Interrupted suture. 4 -It creates knot. 5 -Automated movements (doesn’t receive it’s movements from the doctor).

Final design

Previous design • The previous design (project 1) was depending on an external compressed air, because of the big number of tubes it’s complicated to synchronize the parts movements. • No need for external machine. • So we started a new design depends on stepper motors.

Current design • The new design requires gears instead of tubes, pistons and valves.
