SUPPORTIVE HOUSING Supportive Housing - Supportive housing is a combination of housing and services designed to assist people live more stable, productive lives. The following often qualify as supportive housing: • • • Senior Housing (assisted/ services offered) Veteran Housing (services offered) Recovery Halfway Housing Hospice Formerly Homeless City of Charlotte 2
SUPPORTIVE HOUSING Many types of funding can be used to develop supportive housing. Before you proceed: • • • Is the supportive housing project ACTUALLY supportive housing? Is the owner/operator an experienced service provider? Have you confirmed eligibility of all your funding sources? City of Charlotte 3
