This is an extremely valuable resource especially near the end of the course when your young person is preparing for the Advanced Higher course assessment.
Key Resources-Issued by class teacher Like most National Qualifications, the course consists of three units: Unit 1 Cells & Proteins Unit 2 Organisms & Evolution Unit 3 Investigative Biology Each unit is divided up into key areas (5 in units 1 & 2, 3 in unit 3)

Learning Outcome Checklist – pupil friendly version of the SQA course specification which is a list of key concepts to be learned. 2. Notes booklet – filled in as we do activities in class. 3. Homework – using past paper style questions to support consolidation of knowledge and skills covered in the key areas.
Additional Resources-for support @ home Every pupil has been issued with a copy of the Bright Red Study Guide for Advanced Higher Biology for use throughout the year.
