Observation and recording § Observation occurs at the beginning and end of a session. § The observation period is divided into 50 x 10 -second intervals. § A cue signals the changeover from one interval to the next. § Staff and client on-task/off-task is a snapshot taken at the moment of changeover. § Challenging behaviour - only the first is recorded in the time in between changeover.
