Support to develop and implement the EUWI EECCA component´s Integrated Water Resources Management Activities Bonn, 20 -22 November 2006 Bo Libert UNECE
• Country Steering Group: Mo. E, State Water Committee, Ministry of Finance, Parliamentarians, Cabinet of Ministers, Regional authorities, stakeholders, NGOs – about 10 participants. Meetings 1 -2 times per year. • Multi-stakeholder forum: Annual open meeting for authorities, stakeholders, NGOs, others. • The process is supported by a UNECE senior expert.
• Developing and agreeing on a baseline study and overall objectives for IWRM in the Country Steering Group. • Developing and agreeing on a roadmap and a schedule for its implementation in the Country Steering Group. • Developing (policy package) tasks/activities and linking on-going activities to the roadmap. • Follow-up and updating of road-map and implementation of tasks/activities.
