Sunshine What do you love and hate to do under the sunshine? I love to do pretty much everything under the sunshine: walking in the park, cycling, jogging or just sitting on a chair to see those passersby. As to the thing I hate to do, the only thing is to read under the strong sunshine. OMG, it kills me!
Clothes Will you choose clothes for your friends? I am not that helpful on it because my friends and I are all shopping freaks. When we shop, we just want to be buried in clothes and take everything home. (I am really helpful on it because most of friends are shopping freaks. When they shop, they just want to be buried in clothes and take everything home, but I can tell them what they need and what they don’t. )
Housework In your family, who does the housework? It is pretty much my mom. My father is extremely busy with his work and always on business trips. If I have time, I give my mom a hand to relieve her pressure of doing the household chores.
Housework Do you think children should help their parents to do the housework? Absolutely. I think participating in the housework can make kids more independent and cooperative. Nowadays, most of the kids are a little bit overs-spoiled by their parents, so doing housework is definitely something they should at least try.
Politeness Who taught you to be polite when you were little? It was my parents. They have been such great role models since I was little. Believe it or not, the way they talked to the elders and the way they handled things influenced me subconsciously.
Birthday What are Chinese? the important birthdays for I guess it is the 18 th, 30 th and 60 th birthday. Each of them represents an irreplaceable stage in the life. I will take 30 th birthday for example, it is the time for people to be serious about life. They should be responsible for themselves and their families. Generally speaking, it is a “good” or “bad” turning point.
Songs Do you love singings? I am tone-deaf. It is just not in my NDA. I am a born singer.
In terms of a song, what is more important, the lyrics or the tune? To me, they are playing totally different roles in a song. The tune is like to set a basic tone for a song: happy or heavy, nostalgic or modern, slow or lively, while the lyrics are like something that gives a song a real life.

Describe a decision you took a long time to make. You should say: when you made the decision what the decision was about why it took you a long time to make And explain what this decision meant to you.
Speaking of a decision I took a long time to make, I want to talk about the one I made last year. As a matter of fact, I am a big fan of singing, but I had never sung in public probably because I was quite shy and a little bit tonedeaf. Last year, our students union held a singing competition and all the students were required to participate.
Well, it took me like forever to make up an excuse to avoid participating in the competition, but it was not like that I had any other options. When I talked about this with my mom over dinner, my mom said to me, “Honey, there is nothing to be afraid of. Singing is nothing about those professional skills, it is all about your way of expressing your inner feelings. Just relax and think about the person I might want to sing it for, it will be the most beautiful song ever!”
Her words kind of encouraged me and I finally decided to sing love you indeed from Beyond. It is a classic song which shows the love to all the moms in the world. The tune and the lyrics are really memorable. When I was performing this song on the stage, the only person I was thinking of was my mom. When I finished the song, everybody gave me a loud round of applause. This decision is one of the smart decisions I have ever made in my life because it made me learn something.
A group or a club you joined The group I joined is a singing group which I joined last year. Last year, our students union held a singing competition and all the students were required to participate. I was not that confident, so I joined a singing club. When I told the tutor about my worries in the first class, she told me, “…” I love this singing group because of the things I learned from it.
A competition you’d like to participate in I want to talk about a singing competition I would love to participate in. As a matter of fact, I am a big fan of singing, but I have never sung in public probably because I am quite shy and a little bit tone-deaf. This year, our students union will hold a singing competition and all the students are required to participate. . . My mom said to me, “…” Her words kind of encouraged me and I finally decided to sing love you indeed from Beyond. And I will definitely sing with all my heart and soul. I hope I can do a great job in the competition.
A subject you didn’t like in school The subject I didn’t like in school was singing. As a matter of fact, I was a big fan of singing, but I was a afraid of singing in front of my classmates probably because I was quite shy and a little bit tone-deaf. But one thing I experienced changed my thought. Last year, our students union held a singing competition and all the students were required to participate. My mom said to me… …everybody gave me a loud round of applause. Now I love the singing course because of the things I learned from my mom.
A photo I want to talk about the photo which was taken last year. It is a photo of me singing in a singing competition. The photo always reminds me of the words my mom said to me. Last year…. shy…my mom said to me. . everybody…applause. The photo was taken when I was performing devotedly. I love this photo because of the memories it left me.
