DESCRIPTION OF SUNFLOWER Sunflower is an innovative self-operating parasol that runs without requiring any considerable effort from users. • Sunflower protects users against burning sunlight and rain. • It can provide shadow continuously. • It can be opened and closed using the buttons on it. • The main functions of the Sunflower are achieved via rain sensor and light dependent resistors.

MARKET AND INDUSTRY ANALYSIS There exist 3 million units of production in parasol market annually and approximately 500 million dollars sales generated. However, one fifth of the market includes brand name products. Actually, there exists a lot of unrecorded production and sales in that market. Another fact about parasol market is that coming growth spurt. Since smoking prohibited, the need for outdoor parasol is highly increased. At this point, our project Sunflower is not only targeting summer months and tourism sector, but also winter months and restaurants and cafes with the eligibility of rain sensor.
