White City Stadium n n n Was built in White City for the 1908 Summer Olympics. It was opened by King Edward VII on 27 th April 1908. 68 000 seats There was a dog track, a running track, a cycling track and a swimming tank on one side of the stadium. The stadium was demolished in 1985 for BBC White City.
