Summer theatres in Estonia • Summer theatre in Estonia is unique in the world – these performances are everywhere in Estonia and audience finds these! • In 2015 there was over 70 premiere of summer performances all over Estonia from may till august • Project theatres, traditional theatres, amateur theatres • Places are very diffrent – isles, manors, seaside, wood, bogs

Summer performances in the manor • Summer performances in the Manor of Tõstamaa in Pärnu county since 2011 • Most of the time of the year – schoolhouse • First year performance „School of prides“ got LEADER support 10 thousand euros, but also award of the best cultural event in 2011 • In 2012 performance „Death, birth and wedding“ was also organised with LEADER support (7 thousand euros) RESULTS: Performances every summer, lot of local people are involved – handicraft entreprise, cafe etc

Summer theatre of Kalev´s son • Named after Estonian national epic Kalev´s son • With LEADER support 5 summer theatres were organised: • In 2010, support 6, 1 thousand euros • In 2011, support 3 thousand euros • In 2012, support 2 thousand euros • In 2013, support 3, 2 thousand euros • In 2014, support 4, 4 thousand euros • In the area there is also thematic parc of Kalev´s son: museum, community house, adventure parc • www. kalevipojakoda. ee

Theatre camps for youth • Sokuturi youth camp in Jõgeva county. Got LEADER support from 2011 till 2014. Every camp ends with performance • Taarka traditional theatre in Võru county organised youth camps from 2010 till 2014
