Geography � Sumer was an Ancient Kingdom in Mesopotamia(Southern Iraq) Sumer was the country in the Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age.
Food Onion Beans Grains of barley Sumerians were the first people to cultivate vegetables, and crop plants. They grew onions, beans, garlic, chick peas, cucumber, lettuce, barley, wheat, and millet.
Religion Sumerians honored and worshiped gods because they were scared of them. They thought the gods determined their lives. Also the Sumerians believed in something called Me(may)that ruled over everything and was a universal law.
Architecture Sumerians built statues and small materials out of clay. Their houses were built of bundles of reeds but after cities began to civilize, they made houses out of clay but sometimes they built houses with mud-bricks or fired bricks.
Unanswered Questions Did they had any language? Did other countries take over them? How did their civilizations start? Did they marry? Did they have hospitals? Who were in charge of sacrifices? Where they free? Are some still alive?
