Introduction � Substance abuse is very dangerous and this is the reason why one should avoid it because it can cause harm to his or health. For this reason, some drugs such as alcohol and cigarette can lead to addiction. Therefore, if one becomes addicted, he or she may run his or her life by the use of drugs. The main reason for this is because the drugs become used to the body to the extent that one cannot function minus them.

Effects of the characteristics � Driving under the influence of substance abuse is dangerous � Sharing needles under the influence of drugs is dangerous � Substance abuse can lead to unsafe sex

Conclusion � Substance abuse and addiction is very dangerous more so to young children. The main reason for this is because it interferes with their performance both mentally and physically. For this reason, substance abuse is very dangerous because it alters one’s thinking capacity. This is because the drugs may affect the brain which is the heart of all body activities.
