Adverb Clause � An adverb clause explains how, when, where, why, to what extent, or under what condition � How: Marian looked as though she would die laughing. � When: I had finished my popcorn before the movie started. � Where: They had a good time everywhere they went. � Why: I decided not to go since I wasn’t feeling well. � Extent: The teacher assigned less homework than we thought she would. � Condition: I would not do that if I were you.
