Instrument Scheduling Considerations l Preliminary Plans - l Scheduling Issues - - l Calorimeter to CERN for calibration in July or August. Calorimeter to remain in CERN until heavy proton test in October Instrument to arrive back at UMD by mid-November. When does instrument integration occur? l Prior to initial calibration? l Complete instrument I&T after return from CERN? Need to schedule time to install thermal hardware on instrument prior to instrument thermal vacuum test at GSFC. Collaborators time to support CREAM in conflict with supporting Antarctica balloon missions (TRACER and ANITA-Lite) in December. CREAM planning/scheduling meeting on May 8, 2003 at UMD.
