Date: Monday 23 rd November Lesson Objective: To practise forming the ladder letters. Activity: - Please find the ladder letters sheet in your home learning folders and practise carefully forming the letters. It’s really important that the children know the starting point of the letters. They will then need to form the letters in the correct direction. - If you have not collected your folder, please open the ladder letters sheet on the website and practise them on any mark making equipment – paper, chalkboard, whiteboards etc. - Please see Miss Miskowicz’s ladder letters handwriting video on Tapestry. This will demonstrate how to form these letters correctly.

Date: Friday 27 th November Lesson Objective: To practise using our sounds and phonics skills to write simple CVC words. Activity: - Please find the CVC phoneme frame word sheets in your home learning folders and complete. You can open the spelling toolkit to help you. Say the word in the picture, robot talk it, put those sounds on your fingers, use your Phase 2 sound mat to help you find the matching letters and then be a careful owl and read your word back. - Please see Miss Miskowicz’s writing words video on Tapestry to help you. - If you have not collected your folder, please practise writing these words – cat, tap, sat, pin, dig, hop, rug, fell.
