Date: 20. 04. 2020 Lesson Objective: To practise my spellings for the week and complete my film review. First activity: • Get tested on this weeks spellings and keep your score for the end of the week! • Practise these spellings for 10 minutes and keep practising throughout the week. (If your child knows the majority of these spellings then please try to pick some of the words from the document labelled ‘Statutory Year 5 and 6 Spellings’).
Second activity: • Finish writing your film review from last week! • Self assess your work on your toolkit quickly at the end (we will do this more in depth with your parents tomorrow so just do the ‘me’ part). cc
Date: 21. 04. 2020 Lesson Objective: To assess my own work and edit my work from feedback. Activity: • Make sure you have filled in the ‘Me’ part on your success criteria. • THEN – go through your work with a parent and get them to mark your success criteria too. What next steps would they give you? • Listen to this feedback and edit your work! Feedback is a crucial part of our English lessons and is an extremely valuable way of making progress. Please make sure you go through this piece of work together. Have they used capital letters correctly? Have they used full stops and commas? Have they used the correct tense? cc

What do you need to look at further? Answers are at the bottom of the document.
