We report subcycle interference dynamics between direct and rescattered photoelectrons. Four different interference patterns are predicted by the classical model[1], and used to interpret the quantum simula tions, involving forwa rd a nd ba ckwa rd rescattering in above threshold ionization (ATI). The nume rica l simula tions provide a ttose cond time re solve d tools for the electronic imaging of molecular structure [2].
