But Rather “WATER of LIFE ” – genitive… … water POSSESSING LIFE ! or water OUT FROM which COMES LIFE! Revelation 22: 1

Revelation 22: 2 [2] In the middle of its street, and on both sides of the river was a TREE of LIFE , [GEN] producing TWELVE producing FRUITS, TWELVE FRUITS, yielding ITS FRUIT EACH MONTH, and the LEAVES of the tree are for the HEALING of the nations.

Revelation 22: 4 [4] and they (His slaves) shall SEE HIS FACE, and HIS NAME shall be UPON their FOREHEADS.

“SEE HIS FACE” Psalm 11: 7 [7] For the LORD is RIGHTEOUS; He LOVES RIGHEOUSNESS; the UPRIGHT WILL BEHOLD HIS FACE. Revelation 22: 4

“SEE HIS FACE” Psalm 17: 15 [15] As for me, I SHALL BEHOLD THY FACE in RIGHTEOUSNESS; I will BE SATISFIED with THY LIKENESS when I awake. Revelation 22: 4

“NAME … be UPON their FOREHEADS” These STAND IN CONTRAST to those WHO RECEIVED the MARK of the Beast [13: 16], and WHO were to DRINK the CUP of God’s WRATH [14: 10] and NOW are IN the LAKE of FIRE! Revelation 22: 4

Revelation 22: 5 [5] And night shall no longer be, and they shall have no need of a lamps light and of sunlight, because the Lord God shall shine upon them, and they SHALL REIGN INTO the AGES of the AGES.

These REIGNED: WITH Him UPON the EARTH [5: 10]! and IN LIFE [Ro 5: 17]! HOWEVER this REIGN is NOT LIMITED by TIME – IT SHALL NEVER END! Proves Revelation 21: 1 – 22: 5 is in the NEXT AGE , not this PRESENT one! Revelation 22: 5

Revelation 22: 6 [6] And he said to me, “THESE WORDS ARE FAITHFUL and ARE TRUE , ” and the LORD, the GOD of the spirits of the prophets…

Revelation 22: 6 [6] … has sent His angel messenger TO SHOW TO HIS SLAVES, THINGS that are NECESSARY to SHORTLY [“quickly” G 5034] BEGIN TO BE.

Revelation 22: 7 [7] “And BEHOLD I AM COMING QUICKLY [swiftly, G 5036 (G 5035 – TR)]. BLESSED is the ONE KEEPING the WORDS of the prophecy of this the book. ”

Revelation 22: 8 [8] And I, JOHN, AM the ONE WHO HEARD and SAW THESE THINGS. And when I heard and saw, I FELL to WORSHIP at the feet of the angel messenger the one showing me these things.

[7] BUT IF we WALK in the LIGHT just as He is in the LIGHT , we have fellowship with one another, and the BLOOD of Jesus His Son CLEANSES us from ALL SIN. [1 John 1: 6 -7, 9] Revelation 22: 14

[9] IF we CONFESS our SINS, HE is FAITHFUL and RIGHTEOUS to FORGIVE us our SINS and to CLEANSE us from all UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. [1 John 1: 6 -7, 9] Revelation 22: 14

Revelation 22: 14 (cont. ) [14] “… in order that they MAY HAVE the RIGHT OVER the TREE of LIFE and they MAY ENTER [sub. ] by the gates INTO the CITY.

Revelation 22: 15 [15] OUTSIDE ARE the DOGS… “Dog” (G 2965), “DOGS”, metaphorically was and is often an expression of CONTEMPT toward one who was “UNCLEAN”.

[15] … and the SORCERERS and the FORNICATORS and the MURDERS and the IDOLATERS, and everyone LOVING and PRACTICING FALSEHOOD. Revelation 22: 15

Revelation 22: 18 [18] I TESTIFY to EVERYONE HEARING the WORDS of the PROPHECY of this book; IF ANYONE ADDS to them, GOD SHALL ADD to THEM the PLAGUES having been written IN THIS BOOK,

Revelation 22: 19 [19] AND IF ANYONE TAKES AWAY WORDS of the book of this PROPHECY… from the

Revelation 22: 19 [19] … God SHALL TAKE AWAY THEIR PART from the TREE of LIFE and from the HOLY CITY, out from the things which are written in this book.

Revelation 22: 20, 21 [20] HE Who TESTIFIES TO these things says, “Yes, I AM COMING quickly. ” AMEN, COME LORD JESUS. [21] The GRACE of the LORD JESUS BE WITH ALL. Amen.
