The Internal Assessment ❖ Second year of IB Biology: students design, conduct, and analyze the results of an independent investigation. ➢ Students refine topics they are interested in down to a specific research question, develop, use, or adopt a methodology to explore their RQ. ❖ The final version of the IA is evaluated by me, scores are submitted to the IB, and then later the IA is evaluated by IB moderators ❖ 20% of their IB Biology score if they are a diploma or certificate candidate.
