Learning/Growth I learned that leadership is hard work and that you have to fail

Learning/Growth I learned that leadership is hard work and that you have to fail many times before you have success. For me I learned the most important practice is “inspire a vision” because it is difficult to lead someone who doesn’t believe in your vision. Making a change is a slow process and it takes time to have an effect on a larger scale. I grew as a leader because I now understand the process by which change is made and that leaders have to make difficult decisions as they try to affect change. I understand the importance of exhibiting the 5 practices as well as the model standards in making decisions as a leader. Now I feel my colleagues and administration recognize me as a leader and I recognize myself as one as well.
