Student Reserve Board The purpose of the Student Reserve Board (SRB) is to provide financial assistance to University registered undergraduate groups through the cosponsorship of events and activities that enhance the student experience and foster a stronger LMU community. Through its use of funds, SRB intends to foster leadership, a greater sense of community, social consciousness, entertainment, and an enjoyable LMU atmosphere.
SRB Application Process
Step 1: Review the SRB Code and Utilize the Resources Available. The SRB Code is available online at www. aslmu. org. ! Step 2: Establishing Eligibility Your club must: Attend a mandatory SRB Workshop prior to submitting an application. Be registered and in good standing with ASLMU and Student Affairs. Not have any outstanding Program Summary Reports Not have any financial holds placed by the ASLMU Treasurer. Show that you are making other fundraising efforts in addition to applying for SRB funds. Please keep in mind if you are already receiving University funds through a University department, then you will not also be granted SRB funding.
Step 3: Completing the SRB Application for Funding Please fill out a digital copy of the SRB application available on LEO. All sections of the forms MUST be completed before you submit them. Remember, it is to your advantage to be as accurate as possible concerning the details of your program (especially financial information). You MUST attach invoices, estimates, and any other information that would provide further clarification about the event. You also MUST include example publicity with ASLMU Logo. The ASLMU Logo can be found on the ASLMU website on the clubs and organizations page.
Step 4: Submit Your Form and Show up at Your Presentation Submit your completed forms on LEO by the application due date You will also need to sign up for a presentation time after you are emailed a notification of your presentation date. All clubs/organizations requesting more than $1, 000 must make a presentation to the Student Reserve Board before any allocation may be made. If missing components to your application packet are discovered during the Treasurer’s initial review, you will not be eligible to present.
Step 5: Waiting for your results Within four school days following the SRB Meeting, the Treasurer will electronically deliver an allocation report summarizing the SRB decision and justifying any partial or full denial of funds. If you feel your proposal was treated unfairly, your club/organization must follow the appeals process outlined in the ASLMU SRB Code.
Step 6: Program Summary Report When you receive your Allocation Report, you will also receive a blank Program Summary Report. Following the completion of your event, please submit a completed Program Summary Report. Turn it in NO LATER than 7 days after the event. Organizations which fail to do so will not be allowed to submit any more requests and will be placed on “financial hold. ”

PLEASE READ THE SRB CODE! To be eligible for funding, an RSO must attend a mandatory SRB workshop. SRB allocations will be processed on a first come, first serve basis. To receive funding for any line item, you must have a receipt/invoice that corresponds with it. Don’t forget that EACH SRB funded event must be open to all students.
