Student Expectations 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Turn off your camera. Mute your microphone (unless your teacher asks you to unmute). Engage in the lesson and only use the chat facility to ask or answer questions related to the lesson. All chat is recorded and is sent to Mrs Wilson and your Head of Year at the end of each session. Inappropriate behaviour will result in a phone call or a home visit during the lesson and you will be removed from the lesson by the teacher. SPAG misconceptions: Insta-worthy: Read through the feedback from your teacher. A 1: I need to learn key vocabulary from my Knowledge Organiser so I can match it with the English. A 2: I need to break down my sentences and proof-read when I am translating into English. A 3: I need to look for cognates and key words in texts to help me find the parts of the sentences that match. A 4: I need to find the cognates and key words in the table which match my survey question and find the %. A 5: I need to look for linguistic clues for whether the habits expressed are healthy, unhealthy or both, such as key words and contrasting connectives. A 6: I need to read all texts to ensure I don’t miss any key information when comparing texts. A 7: I need to scan the text for phrases that match the English I am searching for and then check for any tricks. A 4/5/7 -11 Texts J’adore surtout la viande parce que c’est délicieux et varié. Je n’aime pas beaucoup les légumes et je déteste le riz car ils sont dégoutants. Je ne mange pas beaucoup de poisson mais il contient beaucoup de protéines. J’aime le chocolat. Je mange une tablette de chocolat tous les soirs , c’est délicieux mais il contient beaucoup de sucre et de calories ! Je pense que je ne suis pas sain car je mange mal et je ne fais pas le sport. Thomas Pour le petit déjeuner, je mange du pain avec beaucoup de beurre et des fruits. Aussi, je bois du chocolat chaud parce que ça me réveille. J’aime assez les fruits car c’est sain et ils ont beaucoup de vitamines. Mon plat préféré, c’est les pâtes , c’est très savoureux.
