Early College Admission Ø Ø 2. 4 Unweighted Cumulative GPA Discounted rate at HCC OPTIONS • • • College Credit Only • Credits and GPA do NOT effect high school/HCPS transcripts Dual Transfer of Credit • College credit-bearing classes (HCC) count towards earning BOTH high school diploma and college degree • College courses/credits will appear on HCPS high school transcript • College course grades WILL be averaged into high school GPA Full time waiver of Senior Year • Students become full-time student at accredited college • College credits/courses fulfill high school graduation requirements and WILL appear on HCPS high school transcripts • College course grades will NOT be averaged into high school GPA

Dual Enrollment • Students get the HCC grade and the same grade also counts

HCC English 101(1 st Sem) + HCC English 102 (2 nd Sem)= FAHS 12

HCC English 101(1 st Sem) + HCC English 102 (2 nd Sem)= FAHS 12 th Grade English ØThis is the basic HCC Dual Enrollment option for 12 th grade English. ØIf you earn a 4 or 5 on the AP English Lang and Comp Exam, then you only have to take HCC English 102 to equal your FAHS 12 grade English credit

Not all colleges accept all transfer credits. It is important to contact prospective colleges to find out what credits they will accept.

Once approved, student will receive email approval/verification letter. • If student is taking classes at HCC-letter must be shown at time of payment for classes in order to receive discounted rate.
