Student Due Process: “A student is entitled to minimal due process protections, including oral or written notice of the accusations or charges and an opportunity to respond. The notice and opportunity to respond shall precede the student’s removal from school, unless the student’s presence poses a danger to persons or property or threatens to disrupt the academic process, in which case the notice and opportunity to respond shall follow the student’s removal from school as soon as possible. ” -Waverly Community Schools Student Code of Conduct
