Lessons to be learned • The social protection floor agenda increased complexity • Two different types of jobs (horizontal/vertical), stakeholders, mechanisms… • Not only support to isolated schemes but also to the SS system as a whole, ensuring coherence… within social security, with employment, fiscal space analysis/tax reform …. Ex: NSPS in Cambodia, Financing social protection & Tax reform in Thailand, harmonization of schemes through NHIS in Lao PDR Levels of benefits coh ere Informal sector, poor & vulnerable nce Formal sector 15
