KANSAS CITY LIBRARY IN USA The Kansas City Library building worked as a bank in 1906. There is still an original treasury with armored doors. In 2003 normal buildings got this awesome „library” look. Today we can watch film screenings here.
THE LONGABERGER BASKET COMPANY The Longaberger Company is an American manufacturer and distributor of handcrafted maple wood baskets and other home and lifestyle products. Inside the building there is workspace for over 500 employees.
SALVADOR DALI’S MUSEUM Salvador Dali created project of this building himself, and devoted the rest of his life to make the construction. The shape of the museum fits perfectly into the outstanding surrealist work of this painter. This amazing design refers to eggs and bread, which Dali considersas as symbols of the beginning of life.
UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE IN TERFENS The building is really interesting. It gives the impression of facing a strong whirlwind. The foundations rise up, and the roof sticks into the ground. We can find beds, attached to the ceiling, tables, furniture, chairs, TV and even a toilet.
DANCING BUILDING It was made by Vlado Milunić anf Frank Gehry. The reason of the name is really funny. In the shape of building, we can see the silhouette of dancing couple.
CASA DO PENEDO (GUIMARÃES, PORTUGALIA) The engineer who built the Casa do Penedo was from Guimarães. The residence was initially used by the owners as a holiday destination. Today, Casa de Penedo is a small museum of relics and photographs from Penedo’s history. The building is located near a wind electricity farm, although there is no electricity inside the house itself.
