Helping someone who has a sprain or strain

Step 1: There has been a sudden movement to a part of the body

Step 1: There has been a sudden movement to a part of the body and the person has pain, swelling or bruising around a joint or muscle.

Step 2: Apply an ice pack to the injury for up to ten minutes
