The Story of the “Monopoly” Monopoly is one of the oldest game that everybody

The Story of the “Monopoly” Monopoly is one of the oldest game that everybody know about. You roll the dice and move how many spaces on the board you get on the dice. It can be up to 8 people that can play the game monopoly. There is a chance you can land on the space and go to jail, or you can pull a card and they will send you to jail. The goal of the game is to be the player with the most money. It doesn’t matter how many times you went to jail. MAY THE BEST PLAYER WIN. Home Page

Game Directions • Designate a banker for the game, The banker hands out $1500 to each player in the following denominations: Two $500 bills, two $100 bills, two $50 bills, six $20 bills, five $10 bills, five $5 bills and five $1 bills. • • Roll the dice to decide who goes first. Each player rolls and the individual with the highest roll goes first. Play continues to the left. If a person rolls doubles at any time, they get to go again. Three doubles in a row sends the player to jail. Roll the dice at the beginning of your turn. If you land on an unowned property, you may purchase it for the listed price. • Land on Chance or Community Chest and pick up the respective card. Follow the instructions on the card. Some will benefit the player, others will require moving spaces and some others may instruct the player to pay money. • • • Go to jail and you are given two options: pay $50 to be released or attempt to roll doubles. After three turns, you must pay the $50 to get out. You still collect rent on properties when in jail. Collect $200 every time you pass go, except when being instructed to go to jail. Mortgage a property if you need to raise money. You do not collect rent on a property when it is mortgage. To un-mortgage it, pay the amount of the mortgage plus 10% interest. • Win the game by forcing all other players into bankruptcy, which happens when they cannot pay off debts to the banker or players.
